Receipt and invoice capture priced per client for accounting practices, publishing into Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and 36+ other ledgers.
Practices that need receipts, bills and bank statements turned into coded ledger entries at scale, especially firms with MYOB files where most AI bookkeeping tools stop at Xero and QuickBooks. The per-client pricing with a 10-client minimum suits a firm already managing a book of compliance or bookkeeping clients rather than one-off engagements. The AU product validates supplier ABNs against the Australian Business Register, which matters for GST coding work.
Sole practitioners and startups with fewer than 10 clients cannot buy the practice plans at all — both Essentials and Advanced carry a 10-client minimum, so you would pay for capacity you do not have. Anyone who needs to budget before a sales call will be frustrated: the partner page shows only a 'From' rate and pushes you to a plan builder, and it does not publish how many extraction credits each plan includes even though bank statements, line items and supplier statement reconciliation all consume them. Firms expecting an all-in AI agent should note AI Assist only works on items in the Costs and Sales spaces, Bank space is still planned, every Payments feature is marked 'Coming soon', and AI Assist states all customer data is stored in the EU, which rules it out for teams carrying a data-residency requirement for another region.
Pros
Cons
Yes. Dext's MYOB integration page documents a direct connection that syncs chart of accounts, suppliers, customers, jobs, cost centres, products and services and payment methods, plus tracking categories. You can publish items with one click or turn on auto-publish, and the source document travels with the data. One Dext account can connect and manage multiple MYOB files, and Dext states there is no extra fee to connect MYOB beyond a paid subscription after the 14-day trial.
Dext prices practice plans per client per month with a 10-client minimum on both Essentials and Advanced, and takes 13% off for annual billing. The partner pricing page shows only a 'From' rate and sends you to a plan builder or a demo for the real number, saying the rate falls as the client list grows. The add-ons are published at $10 per client per month each: AI Assist custom guidance, Data health & insights, and Commerce Lite.
Credits cover the heavier extraction jobs: bank statements, line item extraction and supplier statement reconciliation. Every practice plan includes an allowance you can top up in heavier months, but Dext does not publish how many credits each plan includes. On the separate business plan the same work is sold outright: bank statement extraction from $17.00 a month or $0.42 per document, and line item extraction from $28.50 a month or $0.70 per document.
Dext hosts on Amazon Web Services across multiple availability zones with backups copied to another region, and holds ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2 or higher in transit. The security page does not name the primary hosting country, and does not claim SOC 2 for Dext itself. Separately, the AI Assist page states that all customer data is stored in the EU, and that data processed by AI Assist is never used to train external AI models, sold, or shared with third parties.
