AI layer across Ramp's spend management for invoice coding, policy checks, auto-approvals and fraud scanning, priced publicly at $0 or $15 per user.
Finance operations teams that want the AI attached to the ledger and the card, not bolted on beside it. Ramp's AI agents auto-approve low-risk transactions, answer policy questions, extract and code invoice line items against past invoices, run three-way match against purchase orders and receipts, and scan transactions for anomalies and AI-generated fakes. It is the only vendor here publishing real per-user prices.
Entities not registered in the United States. Ramp's own support page states applicants must "Be registered in the United States", "Have at least $25,000 in cash in any US business bank account linked to your application" and "Have a physical address located in the United States (cannot be a PO box, virtual office address, registered agent address, or mail-forwarding address)", and that it is not accepting individuals, sole proprietors or unregistered businesses; a separate Canadian path covers eight provinces at CA$25,000, and no path for any other country is published. The audit log is a Plus feature, not Free, and the Plus price excludes an unpublished "platform fee based on team size". The security page claims SOC 2 Type II and PCI standards but no ISO 27001, no GDPR and no data residency.
Pros
Cons
Ramp's support page states applicants must be registered in the United States, hold at least $25,000 in cash in a linked US business bank account, and have a physical US address that is not a PO box, virtual office, registered agent or mail-forwarding address. A separate page covers Canadian businesses in eight provinces at CA$25,000. No path for any other country is published, and Ramp directs global companies to apply through a US entity.
Ramp publishes figures: Free at $0 per user per month, Plus at $15 per user per month plus a platform fee based on team size that is not stated, and Enterprise as custom pricing on annual billing. Annual billing saves 20% on Plus, and the FAQ mentions a free 30-day Plus trial. Procurement is an add-on to Plus or Enterprise. No seat minimums are published.
Ramp's applied AI page states it contractually restricts third-party AI providers from training on customer data and requires zero data retention, and that AI models never train on or view your data. Its own blog describes a narrower position for Ramp's in-house models: general models trained on aggregated and masked customer data, and sensitive models using private data in-context without storing it, with contract data shared only on opt-in.
Partly, and it depends on your plan. The pricing page lists an audit log under Plus, not Free. The Intelligence page states agent decisions are transparent, auditable and adjustable, and that no money moves without human confirmation. The applied AI page states workflows can include citations, approval steps, exception queues and human override. Ramp publishes no log retention period or export format.
