Underwriting AI for commercial P&C and life and health that reads submissions and medical records and cites each fact back to its source document.
Carriers, MGAs and reinsurers whose underwriters spend their day reading submissions rather than pricing them. Sixfold's P&C product states it "Extracts data from every submission, complex SOVs, loss runs, and beyond" and scores risk "with explainable signals, every fact cited to source"; its life and health product states it "Surfaces the key impairments with cited sources" and that "Every recommendation is shown with its rationale". Useful where an underwriting committee has to see why an output was produced.
Firms needing a priced, self-serve or lightly integrated option. Sixfold publishes no pricing, no plan names and no implementation cost, and its only calls to action are a demo request. Integration is described in the FAQ as "Yes, Sixfold makes integrating easy with Rest APIs" with no public API reference, no named policy administration system and no named workbench, so the connector work is yours to scope. It claims SOC 2 Type II plus HIPAA and GDPR but claims no ISO 27001 or ISO 42001, and while the security page names Amazon Web Services it names no region, so there is no published data residency option.
Pros
Cons
Sixfold states its risk scoring uses explainable signals with every fact cited to source, and that underwriters can open the source document behind a fact. Its life and health page states key impairments are surfaced with cited sources, that every recommendation is shown with its rationale, and that underwriters can adjust any rating or recommendation before it is finalised. The vendor publishes no audit log specification.
Sixfold states it is SOC 2 Type II certified, and claims HIPAA compliance in its FAQ and GDPR compliance on its P&C product page. Its Trust Center displays HIPAA and SOC 2 Type 2 badges plus a control and policy list, monitored through Secureframe. No ISO 27001 or ISO 42001 certification is claimed anywhere on the site. Request the SOC 2 report directly from Sixfold.
The vendor's FAQ states customer data is not persisted at the LLM level with Sixfold, that each user's interaction is private, and that the data is not used for future reference or learning by the model. It also states all Sixfold customers operate within isolated environments, described as a secure single-tenant environment. Have your legal team match that language against the contract and the Trust Center documents.
Sixfold does not name a policy administration system. Its product pages say the agent can plug into your existing workbench or policy admin system, and its FAQ states integration is via REST APIs. No public API reference exists. Its partners page names implementation and platform partners including Microsoft, Salesforce, MuleSoft, Unqork, Send, Sollers, Mphasis, Adnovum and Auxo Solutions, so expect a partner-led integration project.
